“I don’t need a caregiver right now. I’m not that old.”

If I had a dollar for every time I heard, “I don’t need a Caregiver right now I’m not that old.” I’d be rich! You would be surprised at the mindset people have when they hear the word “Caregiver”.

It’s my job to educate and inform to get people away from the mindset of only needing a Caregiver when you’re “old”.

If we’re all being honest, we could all use a Caregiver at any age. There are many different reasons someone could use a Caregiver. We assist in the senior communities because statistics have shown there’s increased loneliness and depression. Whether it’s from having no family or friends around you and you need a companion, or maybe you have so much to do and not enough time and you just need a little hand, or maybe you’re not capable to do certain things on your own and its preventing you from being social.
