We’re so excited and we just can’t hide it! ComForCare is turning 30. 

Our story began in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan in 1996.  Founder Mark Armstrong was excited about the powerful work that could be done in the emerging home care industry, knowing deep inside that “we can do this better.”  And he did. 

Starting out with a devoted staff who embodied the core values of his vision to keep older adults and people with disabilities to stay safe at home with the help of professional caregivers, ComForCare was on its way.  Five key core values were instrumental in providing a roadmap for achieving his vision:

There truly is no place like home. It is where memories are created, our favorite things surround us and we can feel our best. That’s why 80% of people prefer to age in place, remaining in the comfort of home.  Thanks to our professional caregivers, staying at home is possible with a little help.  Our stellar care is available for a few hours a week to around the clock, bolstering independence while making home a safe environment.
