“Our primary focus is improving lives.”

Rachel’s Story

My first experience in home care happened when I was a teenager. My grandmother was living with dementia and, as it progressed, I stepped into the role of her caregiver. We had a very close relationship, so taking on the responsibility of her caregiver felt natural. The more involved I became, the more I realized how much I enjoyed caring for others. I have always enjoyed spending time with people much older than me, and that combined with the satisfaction I got from being able to provide care to someone in need, was what set me on the path toward caring for others.

Early in my career, I worked at a care facility for older adults. It was there that I really saw what a potential difference being able to stay in one’s own home can have on a person. Many of the residents at the facility would have preferred to stay in their home if they would have had the ability to do so. Ultimately, that is what really pushed me to leave the facility and go into an industry that would allow me to bring those services to older adults and people living with disabilities.

I now spend each and every day knowing that the services I bring to my clients and their families are truly helping them to live their best lives possible, and I could not ask for a better feeling than that.

Shay’s Story

My introduction to home care came through my wife, Rachel. In my past career, I worked in a position that was geared toward helping businesses grow, which was the most rewarding part of my job. Through Rachel, I was introduced to an industry where I could have a deep, meaningful impact on the lives of individuals, and it wasn’t long before I decided to make the switch and join her in the home care industry.

My favorite part of my job is that it allows me to empower my clients. There are so many things that we take for granted in our everyday lives when it comes to being able to care for ourselves. It is rewarding to be able to provide others with the tools and abilities to live on their own terms, in their own homes. Fundamentally my passion is knowing that I am able to make a lasting difference for someone every time I go into work.
