Meet Our Team

ComForCare Portage is filled with individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others through non-medical home care services. Our team members work to make life easier for individuals dealing with the challenges of aging, living with a chronic medical condition or recovering from an illness or injury while remaining in the comfort of home. Whether a client needs assistance for a few hours per day or around-the-clock care, ComForCare is there to help.

We are happy to have each of these individuals as members of our ComForCare Portage team:

Sherri Cunningham

Sherri Cunningham is our Operations Manager.

Is new to the ComForCare family, she has administrative experience in Office Management, Human Resources, Accounting, as well as Counseling.

Sherri has worked in the billing and accounting field for over 2 decades. She worked for a wide variety of specialties including:  Mental / Behavioral Health, Addiction Recovery, Chiropractic, Medical Outpatient, and Inpatient Services. She likes the way that ComForCare feels like family. She works hard to make sure her community, especially Veterans, gets the quality care that they deserve from ComForCare. She watched the struggles of family members when they had to deal with illnesses and Dementia.

Sherri feels it’s important to get families the help they need for their loved ones. Sherri grew up in NWI. In her spare time, Sherri works on stained glass projects, and crafting. She also enjoys interior decorating and remodeling. Sherri loves spending time with her husband Frank who is a Navy veteran, as well as camping, traveling, and visiting her children and grandchildren in Arizona.

Angel Mcconnell

Angel Mcconnell is our Office Manager. 

 Angel has been in the medical field since 2007. She has held various positions such as first point of contact where she comforted and reassured patients. She has spent most of her career doing medical billing. Holding positions from the beginning to the end of the patient care process is important. This helps in understanding how the patient feels though out their experience. She holds compassion and respect as her core values.  

When Angel is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys spending time at the beach and traveling.

Jessie Osby

Jessie Osby is our Caregiver Manager.

Jessie began her medical career in 2014 as a CNA in the state of California and has had a passion for it ever since. Fun Fact about Jessie, she joined the healthcare field due to her family not having the proper care and wanted to make change! She has trained previous employer’s how to properly care for clients and will continue to do so in her new role as the office assistant. Jessie enjoys building relationships, coaching people through their life challenges, and simply just being there for you.  

Uthman Erogbogbo

Uthman Erogbogbo is our Managing Partner and Co-Owner

Uthman's background is Finance and Accounting having spent over 15 years working with various fortune 500 companies. His most recent role was a Sr. Commercial Finance Manager with a global transportation company before transitioning into owning a ComForcare location in 2022.

With Uthman's father passing away due to a terminal illness his passion to provide quality care to families was ignited. Uthman's mission is to help families continue to live the best version of themselves and their loved ones, despite the different challenges life may throw their way.
