Mickey Landesberg’s Story
I spent 25 years in the entertainment industry, primarily working with major movie studios—an opportunity that originally brought me to Los Angeles from my hometown of Toronto. Toward the end of my corporate career, I was ready for a change—something I could truly believe in.
The idea of owning my own business while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives felt like the right next step.
Today, I truly cherish the work I do and I’m proud of what we’ve built here at ComForCare.

Nancy Perlman’s Story
In my early 20s, back in Toronto, I worked with adults with developmental disabilities. I served as both a caregiver and a liaison between clients, their families, and our therapists. It was meaningful work that supported the community, and I always felt I was making a real difference.
When I began exploring business ownership opportunities, home care became the most natural fit. Helping others and inspiring people to live their best lives has always been what I’ve enjoyed most—whether through my professional career or my involvement with local community organizations.
