Our Staff

Karen, Licensed Administrator

Karen started out as a Certified Nurses Aid in a local nursing home at the age of 18 and fell in love with caring for the elderly. She has been in the healthcare field for over 30 years and understands being a compassionate caregiver as well as the administration side of the business to help clients get the resources they need. Karen lived in Moore for 30 years before moving to Mustang and enjoys spending time with her 2 fur babies, children and family.

Tamara, Community Liaison

Tamara assists our clients in getting the resources & services they need for themselves or their loved ones. She can help clients apply for Veteran Benefits, Long Term Care Insurance, Respite Care & assist in maintaining quality of life. Tamara has been with her husband, Chris, for 41 years. They have 2 sons. Tamara received her B.S. in Communications Disorders from the University of Oklahoma/Norman in 1986 & her M.S. in Speech Pathology/Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) in 1988.

She has worked with individuals who need assistance with speech through non-traditional ways, such as communication devices & language boards. In 1992 she founded the Oklahoma Assistive Device Center on the OUHSC Campus & served as the Director for several years. During that time, she served as an Adjunct Professor in the Physical Therapy Department & Speech Pathology Department on the OUHSC Campus. She also served as the Coordinator of the Assistive Technology Center for the United Cerebral Palsy of Oklahoma from 1990-1992 & the Coordinator of Assistive Technology Center for the United Cerebral Palsy of Phoenix from 1999-2002.  She has dedicated her career to helping seniors find the necessary services to maintain their quality of life.

She received the following citation from Governor Keating of Oklahoma for her efforts during the aftermath of the Murrah Federal Building Bombing in 1995. She served as the liaison between the families and the Governor’s office during the six weeks following the bombing. The citation read, “In recognition of the efforts you made to assist survivors and families of those who were lost, I, Governor Keating wish to thank you on behalf of the people you served on behalf of Oklahoma, for your extraordinary skills and abilities in working and organizing relief efforts and your dedication to helping individuals everywhere. God Bless You”.

Stephanie, Administrative Assistant

Stephanie is a go getter and exuberates our values of care like family, serve passionately and have fun. She moved to midwest City after college in 2009 where she currently still resides. Stephanie has been caring for seniors since she was 16 years old and currently takes care of her grandmother while working full time as an Administrative Assistant with us. When she is not working, she enjoys time with her family, working on cars and traveling to car shows. 

Margaret, Care Manager

Margaret is a retired Paramedic, mother of 7 and an advocate for seniors and those with special needs. She has two special needs daughters herself and understands the challenges that families can face. On her time outside of work, Margaret raises beef cattle with her family. As a hobby she loves to research genealogy.
