Thanks to the new GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) program, families in Garland may qualify for up to $2,563 in annual respite benefits — equal to about 72 hours of home care provided through our agency.
This benefit is designed to support families caring for someone with dementia.
Who’s Eligible?
As a contracted GUIDE partner, we can help you navigate the process and access these benefits if your loved one qualifies.
This work is personal to me. Growing up, I lived with my grandmother and great-grandmother, one of whom had dementia. We tried to do it alone — no plan, no support — and it took a toll on everyone. Looking back, I know having respite care would have given us more good days together.
That’s why we built ComForCare to support both clients and family caregivers. We know you can’t pour from an empty cup — and taking a break is not giving up. It’s ensuring your loved one gets the best version of you.
