At ComForCare Dallas Park Cities we have over 200 caregivers on our roster. Our staff is fully vetted, background checked, drug-screened and all trained and/or certified CNA’s. Dave Smithen, agency owner, personally meets with each caregiver before they are placed to ensure a good match with clients as far as personality types, caregiver skills, and experience.

All of our caregivers are experienced and trained as Certified Nurses Assistants and we pride ourselves on continuing their training and understanding of clients' needs. 

Caregiver Highlights

Introducing caregiver of the year, Alicia J. Alicia worked 177 days and 215 shifts with over 27 different clients. Alicia has been consistently available to work last-minute shifts or call-offs. Alicia is a client favorite and we are proud to have her on our team.

Announcing caregiver of the month this month, Sharon G, another wonderful caregiver who has been reliable, consistently willing to fill in shifts, and never misses a shift.  Sharon’s work ethic and outstanding performance have earned her the title for the month and we appreciate all that she does for us and our clients.

Esther Kaikai is our superstar scheduler. Esther has worked tirelessly to ensure that all shifts are correctly staffed. She intercepts client calls when schedule changes have to be made and she very skillfully fills even the hardest to fill shifts. We are proud to have Esther on the team!

Laura Legg is our Alt Admin and oversees operations. Her background is being an entrepreneur of her own business so sales and operations are her top strengths. She is excited to use her experience to help streamline the back office so the real attention can be on our clients and providing excellent care.  We are proud to have Laura on the team!

Barbara Tunstall VP of Marketing. Barbara comes to ComForCare from her experience of caring for an aging friend, a retired doctor. Barbara has a demonstrated history of working across multiple client-centric industries, such as academia, non-profits, restaurants, retail & wholesale apparel, real estate, technology, transportation, and healthcare. She has worked with start-ups,  small, medium-sized, and Fortune 500 enterprises throughout the United States, skilled in New Business Development, Branding, Customer Retention, Marketing, Negotiation, Sales Management, and Operations. Barbara has a strong business acumen with a big-picture vision while attending to every detail, she has a special place in her heart for people with disabilities and considers herself a servant leader, as well as a  key-connectivity professional. Barbara originates from Vancouver, BC, Canada, and has been in DFW for over 30 years. She loves Texas, especially BBQ, Steak and Tex-Mex, and year-round Golf!
