Hear what some of our clients have to say about working with our caregivers at ComForCare Montgomery County:
ComForCare took care of my mother, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week for more than three years. My father hired them initially, to help with my mother during his final months of life, when he was in and out of hospitals and nursing homes himself. When he died, I was still living thousands of miles away, and it was ComForCare's superb caregiver who was with my mother. Some months later, and still before I was able to relocate to the area, my mother's health began to decline quickly, and ComForCare was there to help every step of the way. As my mother's dementia worsened, she passed through a series of personality and behavioral changes that were exceedingly difficult to deal with and endure. At times she was very mean and abusive, but ComForCare's caregivers remained even-tempered, calm and caring the whole time. At my request, ComForCare found a wonderfully kind and trustworthy caregiver who could live all the time in my mother's house, caring for her every day, all day. I moved back to the area, did all their weekly shopping and visited as often as I could. I would recommend ComForCare to anyone who needs skilled help and companionship, whether for a short period of time or for long-term sustained care. With their help and constant back-up, you'll be able to find the right caregiver for your loved one, too.
I had a serious motor vehicle accident and was at the end of my hospital stay and needed to find a place for my next level of remedial care. I tried to find a skilled care facility with remedial care, but they were either full or too expensive. The hospital gave me a list of in-home care agencies and I started calling them. I called ComForCare and talked briefly over the phone with them. Before all the agencies that I called could get back to me, one of the owners of ComForCare was in my hospital room discussing my care needs with me. They helped me make arrangements such that I was able to come home and get to various doctor appointments, eat prepared meals, and get the home care I needed in order to get the healing home environment I needed to mend. The owners gave me the personal attention that I needed to make sure that things went as smooth as possible. I would recommend ComForCare to anyone in my position that needed home care and wanted a chance to stay home.
My mother has suffered with dementia for many years. As her condition worsened, we decided to get caregiver help because it was too much for my father to handle. "J" from ComForCare has been with us for a year and a half. She has been an absolute godsend - so good with my mother. Patient, kind and upbeat, she is beloved by all who meet her. At this point we consider "J" to be a member of the family. I'm so happy ComForCare could identify the perfect person for our situation, and we love how the owners stay involved in supervising my mother's care.
I welcome the opportunity to recommend ComForCare Montgomery County. They came into our lives at a difficult time for our family. The caregiver and nurse helped our father, and our entire family, by giving him excellent care and helping us understand his condition and prepare for what was to come. Dad's time with the caregiver was not very long, but I'm glad our paths crossed.
K. is a conscientious, reliable, caring, personable caregiver. We have enjoyed having her work with R.
I am very pleased with my caregiver. She is a very kind person. I am very lucky to have her in my life. I could write a book on her performance.
