Have you ever seen a word that you thought meant something else and you weren’t interested in knowing more? Imagine going years with having the same thought in your head and you finally hear someone talking about it and it wasn’t what you thought at all! Okay you’re wondering what word I’m talking about right?! Tell me… What comes to your mind when you hear Caregiver? Or ComForCare? I knew it! Okay hear me out….

I’m visiting a senior community we are partnered with and I see all familiar faces except a couple that was new to the community. I introduce myself, review the services we offer and gave my business card out. One lady that I always talk to overheard and was so shocked about the services we provided. She said, “Wow, is making someone breakfast or transportation a new service? I’ve been here for over 5 years and always knew your company but I figured it was if you needed help because you’re medically not capable.” This statement is so common and caregiving services are so underrated. For this new year, I challenge you all to get more information on things you thought you knew and see how much you can learn and how beneficial it may be.

Even if you don’t want/need the service now, it’s always great to plan ahead!
