Intellectual and Developmental Disability Supports Helps Your Loved One Achieve Greater Independence, Choice, and Opportunity In Their Lives
At ComForCare Home Care, our caregivers understand that your family or friend desires as much independence as possible, yet still needs some help. We can give them the one-on-one assistance and attention they deserve at home and in their community.
The One-On-One Care Difference
When you choose ComForCare, your loved one is assigned a personal caregiver or team of caregivers for whom the priority is your family member’s well-being. This is different from institutions, where a person would be one of many residents receiving disability management. This means you don’t need to worry about things like overcrowding or understaffing, as your loved one is always getting direct attention and care.
We offer a large number of home care services,
including but not limited to:
- Companionship Care – While this can include personal care, primarily this service focuses on the individual doing all the activities they enjoy doing / fostering community interaction, while also ensuring their health and safety while at home or out in the community.
- In Home and Community Supports (Habilitation) – Focused on cultivating life goals, skills and independence, our habilitation services target cognitive, social, and adaptive development. These services can be offered both at home and within the community to foster a structured environment for personal growth, unique needs, and aspirations.
- Respite Care – Our in-home respite services give primary caregivers short-term relief, available at any time of day.
