Best Life Brands Wins Franchise Times 2019 Dealmaker Award
Best Life Brands, a multi-brand platform company uniting ComForCare, At Your Side, CarePatrol and all future acquisitions to serve aging individuals along the continuum of care, has been recognized by Franchise Times as one of 11 winners of the publication’s seventh annual Dealmakers project, which honors standout companies driving mergers and acquisitions in franchising.
Best Life Brands’ recognition as a 2019 Dealmaker comes as a result of the company’s creation and active participation in the following deals from 2018:
- The Riverside Company named Steve Greenbaum CEO of ComForCare in January,
- Greenbaum’s quick and early leadership in acquiring CarePatrol in February creating a new umbrella company Best Life Brands with Greenbaum as CEO over all brands,
- ComForCare and At Your Side’s partnership with Kindred At Home in September, and
- ComForCare formally debuted private-duty nursing at its annual franchise conference in November.

Best Life Brands was chosen as a 2019 Dealmaker by a panel of qualified judges. Nominations for all applicants were submitted in the fourth quarter of 2018 and covered merger and acquisition transactions in franchising for the trailing 18 months ending December 31, 2018.
All winning deals will be featured in the April 2019 issue of Franchise Times. Additionally, Greenbaum accepted the Dealmaker award on the behalf of Best Life Brands at a gala awards luncheon on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, during the Franchise Times Finance & Growth Conference at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas. At this luncheon, all winners shared with attendees how they landed their company’s major deals, followed by the announcement of the 2019 Deal of the Year.
