The San Diego Regional Center is a state-funded agency that coordinates services and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and related conditions. It serves both children and adults throughout San Diego County. SDRC works under the Lanterman Act, California’s foundational legislation guaranteeing that individuals with developmental disabilities have the right to services that support independent living and community participation. Families work with an assigned service coordinator who helps develop an Individual Program Plan and authorizes services based on their loved one’s specific goals and needs.
We proactively monitor and schedule your authorized hours (whether they are allocated monthly or quarterly) to ensure your family fully utilizes every single hour of support you are entitled to.

Children and adults with physical disabilities or other challenges often need hands-on care around the clock. Issues such as developmental delays, cognitive disabilities, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy and autism may inhibit one’s ability to perform daily tasks on their own. This is where disability management can help.
