Meet The Owner of ComForCare Staten Island, Dr. Wagdy Girgis

Wagdy F. Girgis MD, PC, is a Board-Certified Physician that is also the director of Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center at Maimonides Medical Center. He obtained his Medical Doctorate at the University of Alexandria, Egypt.
He then underwent his Post-Graduate training Internship and Residency as Chief Resident of Family Practice and President of House Staff at Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York. Doctor Girgis has eight years of previous experience as the Director of Family Practice at Victory Memorial Hospital.
Since 1995, Doctor Girgis has been and is currently treating patients at his private practices located in Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York.
With his extensive experience as a Physician, he is adept in physical evaluations, treatment plans, and disease management, and has worked with Physically and Mentally disabled patients. During his 28 years of practice, Doctor Girgis has become a Lymph Edema specialist, including manual Lymph Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy of Lymphatic Therapy. Wagdy Girgis MD has had years of experience in multiple nursing homes along with years of experience in treating chronic wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers and pressure ulcers, and more. His many experiences align well with the qualifications of home care agencies. He is delighted to bring you services to help assist your lifestyle!
