My passion for this business (WHY)
Working in a nursing home taught me that, while facilities certainly serve their purpose, it isn’t where most people prefer to be. The hard part of my time there was not being able to spend as much time with folks that they really needed in order to thrive. This broke my heart and motivated me to open my own home care agency. My passion is to help people stay at home and allow them to age in place. It can be challenging to age in place, but I strive to help older adults receive the best care and have access to the right resources. I just love helping people.
Experience
I have worked as a direct care worker in nursing homes for over 13 years and started in the casual fast food industry. Both roles taught me the power of working together as a team to achieve the best outcome. At my agency, it is important for me to build the right team to ensure the happiness of our clients. I’ll do anything to care for others and finding the solutions to truly help someone is so fulfilling. By analyzing a situation, we can work together to create the right solution as a team. This is a really important skill when running an agency and caring for all types of people with various needs. From experience, I’ve been able to learn valuable insight. I want to make sure things are done right, every time. However, I do balance that with learning from my clients each day so I can improve to best support those who trust in my care.

We put an emphasis on the power of human connection and forming bonds that allow our caregivers to care for their clients like family.
Therefore, our team is built based on those with compassion for supporting older adults along with the right experience. We’re here to help our families and clients feel more comfortable and to take the stress away from the uncertainty that comes with the aging process. That is my focus and role and I get tremendous satisfaction out of.
