March marks Women\u2019s History Month, a time to recognize the impact women have made across every field and community. Although the month has come to a close, we want to recognize a group whose contributions people feel every day, even when they go unseen: the women behind home care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Heart Behind the Work<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Caregiving is more than a set of tasks. It\u2019s a presence, a mindset, and often, a calling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Across Waukesha County and throughout Wisconsin, many caregivers show up each day not knowing exactly what the shift will bring, only that someone is counting on them. It may be helping a client start their morning after a restless night, offering reassurance during a moment of confusion, or simply sitting with someone who doesn\u2019t want to feel alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
