I had a client hold my hand and look me in my eyes and say, \u201cI\u2019m so scared because I know I\u2019m losing my memory, every day is hard for me.\u201d I hugged her tight and reassured her that every day we are here to help her remember. We know it\u2019s not easy and that why it\u2019s important for us to encourage their independence as much as possible while still guiding.
