Our Training Process
ComForCare Home Care (Henderson, NV)

At ComForCare Henderson, our commitment to quality care begins with our compassionate and proactive approach. By creating a service plan and training our caregivers on what to do to, it helps to ensure care is properly delivered and our clients are safe. Our Superior Process begins with identifying clients’ and families’ unique needs, creating a client-centered service plan, coordinating with the family and other providers and implementing quality assurance throughout the duration of care. We have a rigorous 10-step hiring process for our caregivers, nurse oversight of client care and ongoing training and evaluation at every level.

From personal care to helping after a hospital discharge with our transitions of care services, we are there when you and your loved ones need us. Home Care You Can Trust

What makes ComForCare different from other in-home care providers? It’s our personalized approach to care and caregiver training that sets us apart from the rest. At ComForCare, we understand every person and every situation are unique. We provide onboarding, ongoing and at-home hands-on training to ensure our caregivers are comfortable and competent to provide great, safe care.

Onboarding Training

Many home care agencies send their prospective hires to third-party training so they can learn the basic knowledge and skills related to non-medical care. Nevada requires all people wanting to be a caregiver to be instructed on the basics of care as outlined by the state.

Our belief is that all caregivers hired by us need to be personally trained by us. No exceptions! We need to understand exactly what they know, what they have learned, what they have retained and what skills they can perform to make sure they are fully competent and confident to provide superior home care. Outsourcing this initial training is simply not our standard.

Emergency Situations, CPR and First Aid

It is our belief that caregivers need to know what to do in an emergency situation before an emergency happens. We know these situations can happen at any time whether that’s due to the weather, fire or a medical condition. At ComForCare Henderson, we make sure all of our caregivers are trained on what to do in the event of an emergency. We teach our caregivers not to panic in the event of an emergency and to take immediate action to get help and safeguard our client. The owners are also certified American Heart Association CPR/First Aid instructors.
