{"id":213,"date":"2019-05-08T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-05-08T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.comforcare.com\/franchising\/?p=213"},"modified":"2025-07-24T20:09:36","modified_gmt":"2025-07-24T20:09:36","slug":"best-life-brands-wins-franchise-times-2019-dealmaker-award_ae45","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.comforcare.com\/franchising\/blog\/best-life-brands-wins-franchise-times-2019-dealmaker-award_ae45\/","title":{"rendered":"Best Life Brands Wins Franchise Times 2019 Dealmaker Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Best Life Brands, a multi-brand platform company uniting ComForCare, At Your Side, CarePatrol and all future acquisitions to serve aging individuals along the continuum of care, has been recognized by Franchise Times as one of 11 winners of the publication\u2019s seventh annual Dealmakers project, which honors standout companies driving mergers and acquisitions in franchising.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Best Life Brands\u2019 recognition as a 2019 Dealmaker comes as a result of the company\u2019s creation and active participation in the following deals from 2018:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>The Riverside Company named Steve Greenbaum CEO of ComForCare in January,<\/li>\n<li>Greenbaum\u2019s quick and early leadership in acquiring CarePatrol in February creating a new umbrella company Best Life Brands with Greenbaum as CEO over all brands,<\/li>\n<li>ComForCare and At Your Side\u2019s partnership with Kindred At Home in September, and<\/li>\n<li>ComForCare formally debuted private-duty nursing at its annual franchise conference in November.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cThis is only the beginning for Best Life Brands as we continue to expand our services and add brands that share the company\u2019s goal to serve older adults and people with diverse needs in a more holistic way,\u201d said Steve Greenbaum, CEO of Best Life Brands. \u201cWe will continue to invest in people, processes, technology and profitability across our franchise network while pursuing additional strategic acquisitions to expand and enhance our capabilities and reach.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Best Life Brands was chosen as a 2019 Dealmaker by a panel of qualified judges. Nominations for all applicants were submitted in the fourth quarter of 2018 and covered merger and acquisition transactions in franchising for the trailing 18 months ending December 31, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>All winning deals will be featured in the April 2019 issue of Franchise Times. Additionally, Greenbaum accepted the Dealmaker award on the behalf of Best Life Brands at a gala awards luncheon on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, during the Franchise Times Finance &amp; Growth Conference at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas.
