This Women’s History Month, we celebrate the inspiring journey of Jenette Young, a true champion of her community and a dedicated business leader. Jenette\u2019s passion for building strong community relations, ensuring great client outcomes, and driving economic growth in the home healthcare sector shines brightly in everything she does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A proud graduate of Loyola College in Maryland (now Loyola University), Jenette has 30 years of experience in the retail food industry across Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. Today, she wears the hat of President and Owner of ComForCare Home Care Services in Towson\/Randallstown, Maryland. In this role, she leads a wonderful team of health professionals and office staff who are dedicated to making a difference in our communities. The positive impact of her company is felt throughout Baltimore County, Baltimore City, and Carroll County, where she and her team provide essential services that truly help local families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jenette\u2019s heart for giving back shines through her involvement with the Greater DC\/Maryland Multiple Sclerosis Society, where she serves on the Board of Trustees. She has also served as president of both the Towsontowne\/Hunt Valley Rotary Club and the Maryland Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Jenette is a Board member to the Edrich Manor Homeowners Association.  Previous Board memberships include the Liberty Road Business Association and Potential Unlimited.  Jenette served as a member of the Security Woodlawn Association as well.  Throughout her career, she has taken the time to mentor and uplift many individuals, empowering them to chase new career opportunities and reach their dreams. Her commitment to helping others is a beautiful part of her story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With numerous awards and recognitions, Jenette is also an active member of the Greater Baltimore Chamber of Commerce (formerly the Pikesville Chamber), the Towson Chamber of Commerce, the Women in Business Club at the Baltimore Center Club, and New Psalmist Baptist Church. Her deep connection to the Baltimore community drives her to tackle local challenges with a compassionate spirit, always searching for meaningful solutions.
On a personal note, Jenette is the proud mother to her son, Charles Young II, and the loving wife to Charles Young Sr.  Jenette is daughter to Cattie & John Ambrose and was born – the eldest of 6 children.  Her family, along with her community, fills her heart with inspiration every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jenette Young\u2019s unwavering dedication to leadership, mentorship, and community service is truly heartwarming. She embodies the spirit of women who create positive change in their industries and beyond. ComForCare Owner, Jenette Young, Receives Spirited Women’s Award in Entrepreneurship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jenette Young is the President\/Owner of ComForCare Home Care Services of Randallstown, Maryland encompassing Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll County and surrounding areas since June 2009. Her company satisfies the personal care and companionship needs of our senior adult community and persons in need of care due to sickness or surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jenette is an accomplished mentor and has received multiple awards for her development of others including “Mentor of the Year”. She has been on the Steering Committee of Giant’s Networking Women Program and has spearheaded many of the Minority Mentor programs. Her additional awards include: being ranked as a Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise amongst minority enterprises in the Mid-Atlantic Region by the Mayor of Baltimore, 2014 Brava Award – honoring top female CEOs by Smart CEO and being named 17th Fastest Growing Women-Owned Business in 2014 by the Baltimore Business Journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through her positive impact on the community, Jenette has shown that women can attain personal success and help others grow in the process. This year, five amazing women will be recognized for their accomplishments as Spirited Women in Entrepreneurship and Jenette is one of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Lifetime of Love<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Martin (Marty) and Jeannette Fedder have spent most of their lives together. The couple has been married for an impressive 72 years. Now in their 90s, they are happy to still be living together in their long-time family home. One of the primary reasons the Fedders have been able to remain in their home in Maryland is the help of in-home caregivers provided by ComForCare Home Care Services. The ComForCare office in Randallstown serves Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Carroll County and the surrounding areas. Licensed by the state of Maryland, the company provides experienced, professional caregivers who meet rigorous hiring standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
